Anti-Fraud Policy

THRONE DIGITAL LTD ("AffGoat", "we") maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward fraudulent activity. This policy outlines what constitutes fraud, how we detect it, and the consequences for violations.

1. What Constitutes Fraud

The following activities are considered fraud and are strictly prohibited:

  • Click fraud — generating fake clicks through bots, scripts, click farms, or automated tools
  • Conversion fraud — fabricating conversions, using stolen payment details, or self-converting
  • Cookie stuffing — dropping tracking cookies without user knowledge or interaction
  • Incentivized traffic — paying or rewarding users to click, install, or complete offers without advertiser approval
  • Misleading advertising — using fake endorsements, misleading claims, or deceptive creatives
  • Account manipulation — creating duplicate accounts, self-referrals, or circular referral schemes
  • VPN/Proxy abuse — masking traffic origin to circumvent geo-targeting or inflate metrics
  • Trademark violations — bidding on advertiser brand names in paid search without authorization
  • Data harvesting — collecting user data through fake landing pages or phishing

2. How We Detect Fraud

We employ multiple layers of fraud detection:

  • Real-time conversion quality monitoring
  • IP analysis and device fingerprinting
  • Click-to-conversion time analysis
  • Geographic anomaly detection
  • Sub-ID pattern analysis
  • Advertiser quality feedback integration
  • Manual review of flagged activity

3. Consequences

If fraudulent activity is detected or suspected:

  1. Immediate suspension — your account will be suspended pending investigation
  2. Commission forfeiture — all unpaid commissions from fraudulent traffic are forfeited
  3. Commission reversal — previously paid commissions from fraudulent traffic may be clawed back
  4. Account termination — your account will be permanently banned
  5. Legal action — we reserve the right to pursue legal remedies for damages
  6. Industry reporting — we may report fraud to advertisers and industry databases

4. Conversion Scrubbing

We reserve the right to review, adjust, or reject conversions that:

  • Fail advertiser quality checks
  • Exhibit abnormal patterns (spike in volume, unusual geo distribution)
  • Have suspiciously short click-to-conversion times
  • Originate from known proxy/VPN IPs
  • Are flagged by our automated fraud detection systems

Scrubbed conversions will reflect as "rejected" in your dashboard with the relevant status.

5. Appeals

If you believe your account was flagged or terminated in error, you may submit an appeal to compliance@affgoat.com within 30 days. Include your affiliate ID and any evidence supporting your case. We will review appeals within 14 business days.

6. Reporting Fraud

If you suspect another affiliate is engaging in fraudulent activity, report it to compliance@affgoat.com. Reports are confidential.
